Unfortunately BattleTech have a gigantic and illogical excess of weaponry and the most painful of this matter is that surely in the future BattleTech will have more GEAR , new weapons and new different armors although BattleTech not need more GEAR nor new weapons , nor more different armors therefore is important to remember that MechWarrior 4 Mercenaries is based on Battletech and therefore is not a exception respect to the weapons . Anyway under these lines you can see a image that show the components that can be activated and also the three different types of armor that can be selected as well as the weapons that we consider more useful and efficient for fight battles in MWMEL . The weapons are classified by rate of fire .
Under these letters you can see the same weapons classified by the effect of the damage that cause the aforesaid weapons.
Now you can examine them again but this time ordered by range.
The next image show a short extract of the MechWarrior 4 Mercenaries Weapons database and analysis created by Uzair Hashmi in wich appear all more important Parameters of the weaponry previously showed.

Finally under this text you can see some examples that show different combinations of weaponry applied in certain mechs.
NOTE II : if you have more than 200 of ping and want to use long-range weapons we suggest use especially : ER Large Laser , Arrow IV Thunderbolt , MiniGauss , Light Gauss Rifle , Clan Gauss Rifle as well as place in one same mech at least three or four Light PPC , ER PPC , Clan LRM 15 , Clan LRM 20 , Clan Ultra AC2 , Rotary Autocannon 2.This suggestion should be taken very seriously about the LRM because its efficiency is not the same respect to the original LRM of the MechWarrior 4 Vengeance so that now are little harmful if they are not used in group.
